Remember part of what you pay for with a limited edition (which is effectively what the Df is, a bit like buying a Leica etc) is the extra costs involved with manufacturing and designing a limited manufacturing run. For the maker, the savings of scale involved in manufacturing millions, rather than thousands of any model are significant. The D610 shares most of its design features with other models including a sensor shared with Sony, the Df has a lot of custom features that are unique, or shared with the D4 which is also not a mass market model. Maybe half of what you pay for is added "quality" the other half is more complicated logistics which is no benefit to the end user. Objectively the D610 is almost certainly better value for money. Subjectively I guess most Df owners will claim that the Df is better value to them, after all how much value do you place on belonging to a more exclusive "club"?
