Storing Fuji photos on a three-week trip
Apr 11, 2014

The typical size of RAW + JPEG photos taken on X-E1 and X-E2 cameras?

I usually take 150 photos a day on a tour (this one is of China and Tibet) and will be traveling for 20 days, so that is about 3000 photos and could be a few more.

Is there software that will display (the JPEG portion) and store photos reliably on the current generation Kindle (Fire HDX 8.9) without truncating or causing problems?  (I am planning to put photos into a PC running LR 5.4 when I get home.  However, examining photos each night for problems in the cameras or this photographer--new to Fuji--seems a very good idea.)  I find all kinds of Android software that is intended to do from pretty good editing work on smaller files down to poor editing work on even smaller files.

BTW, exporting from a Kindle appears to require an external WiFi hard drive.  This one has enhanced memory inside.
