I don't know how we could get a focus confirmation in manual focus... that confirmation is the focus peaking..

Basically using the same algorithm used for the AF... something that check the contrast in the focusing selected area and, instead of actuating the lens focusing motor till it's in focus, just give a focus confirmation in the OVF when you manually set the focus on the right point.

Canon DSLRs can do that with legacy lenses and some adaptor rings. I would really love that feature!
