Some might have the sense but even in these hi-tech times probably the best many are capable of is curse "the stupid thing that flashes when it shouldn't". The remaining majority don't realize anything's "wrong" and/or wouldn't bother to learn anything beyond on/off/zoom/snap. Don't underestimate people's cluelesness outside their area of interest; modern mentality in Ancient- or medieval-themed movies, anyone?

Also, crowd and respectfully subtle behavior?
