DSLRs autofocus just fine for their intended purpose.  Many DSLRs do an excellent job at auto focusing quickly, accurately and track well for sports and birding. The point of this thread is that DSLR AF works just fine. Other issues predominate the DSLR or mirrorless purchase decision.

It's delusional to believe that a DSLR can't focus accurately for most photographic tasks. There may be a difference for those photographers with unique applications. Those folks know their needs and most likely have their own expert reasons for their choice of gear.
