I like taking photos of many things, including rodeos and bullfights. I do this out of cultural appreciation; they are rather exciting and artful too.  I have never witnessed a Spanish bullfight, so I don't know what I would think. Arguments can be made on both sides of the question.

Unfortunately there is hardly any documentary photography on DPR.  I don't find "street" photography to be particularly illuminating.  Where are the  Dorothea Langes of the world.

What is right and wrong is a slippery slope...I am more concerned about global climate change, species extinction, habitat loss, cruelty to humanity, etc.

In case you are wondering, this is a bloodless event, except for the humans that get hurt. I find American football to be much more violent!  Or how about all the people killed by air pollution?  We humans...much room for improvement!
