Be that as it may, to take advantage of raw images, one must be willing to make a little effort with the conversion adjustments, such as tonal and color balance, sharpening, noise reduction, etc. Or are you suggesting that raw conversion without adjustments results in a better image than the firmware in the camera?

To be honest, it doesn't take much time once you make some presets for yourself and batch process. That takes care of 90% of the adjustments, and it's just a couple of mouse clicks. But yes, it does take slightly more effort to get better results. Seems fair.
