with its smaller size the Jr is much lighter than the big gimbals -- at no compromise in flex stiffness. This is possible because of the smaller size.

With weight a consideration the gitzo 25xx series seems a better match.

With lenses like the 70-200mm f/2.8 or 80-400mm f/5.6  the Jr allows to have the center of gravity of lens+camera below the fulcrum.

With lenses 300mm f/2.8 and up is practically not possible to have cg below the fulcrum with the Jr. But, if overall weight is important, you may consider a minor compromise where the cg remains slightly above the fulcrum.
