No, John, you don't.

All that's needed is proper exposure which from your many posts, you're good at. proper exposure.

A bit of "lighten shadows" in a routine such as PSE is all that's really needed - there is plenty of detail in the SHADOWS, as you have demonstrated. The rest is icing on the cake.

Sky color can be anything you like, no special program needed.

25% Lighten shadoes and a touch of contrast, PSE 8. took less than 30 seconds - plenty more can be done, if one wants, even lighter shadows and better clouds.

If you like "raw", fine, do it, but it's not "needed".
