M4/3 lenses Don't feed stopping down. Why don't you just use a higher shutter speed? Sure my e-pl1 could only do 1/2000 but most users on this board seem to have newer cameras with higher SS limit, I can hardly remember a situation where i needed something higher than 1/8000 on my GX7. If you truly need the shallow DOF and slow SS then you're kind of forced to use a ND Filter, otherwise I don't see any handicap at all. What is a handicap though is the fact that most FF lenses do need to be stopped down to get a sharp image and enough dof to nail focus, something rather troublesome in low light. Fortunately m4/3 is not affected by this.
