From an old Konica owner - remembering Konica as an innovator

Passing through the Konica Minolta forum I had to reminisce. This is much, much pre-digital era. My first new camera was the Konica Auto-Reflex-T. At that time, with no computer or internet, it must have been a Popular Photography article that introduced me to this new innovative camera. It was the first focal plane shutter 35mm SLR with auto-exposure and TTL metering combined in one body. What's a zoom lens? I had a 50mm 1.2 Hexanon lens and a 135 3.2 Hexanon Lens.

I looked at the title line and was trying to decide whether it implied the camera was old or the owner was old. I guess it's right either way.

Sorry to see Konica Minolta line go.
