Really? And they should have reset the shutter count based on what exactly? I bought a used D3S, the owner had serial number specific paperwork documenting the shutter replacement (and other work) and no, the counter was not resent.

In another news flash when key components of automobiles are replaced, odometers shouldn't be rolled back either.
