You seem to be overwhelmed with advice. I have the A65. One of my favourite lenses in the Sony 30mm f/2.8 macro. It is my general walk about lens. It is very sharp, has excellent contrast and very resistant to flare. On APS-C it equates to 45mm which is quite like the old 50mm standard lenses on film SLR's good value at £159 $199. (Review here: http://www.iconpublications.com/subscriptioncontent/PWorld2-2010.pdf). Also have Tamron 90mm manual focus macro which rarely gets used now.

i have Minolta 28-85 which is fairly good but heavy and not very wide at the wide end. I have a 70-210 f/4 beercan which is great. At wide end a Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6

Good luck in your deliberations. What ever you get I am sure you will enjoy your A65. It is a very versatile camera and capable of great quality output.
