Hi guys,

I recently did a complete reorganization of my gear.

I used to travel with a D3s, 14-24mm, 24-70mm,70-200mm and 85mm f1.4d.

I had more than enough...so, for my next travel I purchased a D800 and the new 85mm f1.8G (wow, now that's light !).

I was thinking of getting the 35mm f1.8 as well...

Now I would bring only the D800, 2 primes and the 70-200mm.

Anyone out there having done it before ? Any thoughts or experience to share ?

Thanks in advance for your inputs,

Regards,

Unless I know that I am absolutely going to need the 70-200, it stays home. In previous travels, I use wide angle and mid range zooms, and when I tour , I prefer the one lens solution (that's a laugh, because there really isn't a one lens solution).  I have also gone lighter. I bring my D600, my 24-120 f4, an 85 1.8G and the 28 1.8g.
