Enough with the snapshots (this won't earn me any friends)!

Hi. It seems many buy a Sony camera and then post pictures in this forum. Pictures are often snapshots of events they've attended, who they've been with, or objects that happen to be nearby. I think this detracts from the quality of the forum. The pictures too often say nothing of interest, especially as would apply to Sony brand gear. They're snapshots, often in what looks like P, program mode. If one is to share an image, shouldn't it illustrate something specific like corner sharpness or bokeh or chromatic aberration or low light performance or flare or discrete street shooting results, etc.? This annoyance only increases over time as so many point and shoot cameras and phones have ever increasing point and shoot image quality. Take this as a bid to increase forum quality, not a jab at anyone in particular. Cheers, Peter
