I have the D800e+70-200 f4. Do I need the 85 1.8g??

I know that it is an irrational question, but.....any suggestions?

My most used lenses are, in order, 24-70, 50 1.8 and 14-24. I use 70-200 not very often, mainly for my daughters recitals...

I do a lot of family portraits light (as a dad, not as a pro..).

Do you think I could have some consistent advantages with 85 1.8, considered that I already have the 70-200?

Probably the 85 1.8 has a considerably better bokeh for 1.8, I don't know about its sharpness, but I don't know whether  this justify its purchase....

Thanks for your advice (also the monkey on my shoulder thanks you....).

Stefano
