Street Photography - What Settings?

I have an x100. Very impressed by the quiet shutter! So impressed i am sometimes sitting about half a meter from someone and they don't even know i have taken their photo!
The question is what settings is best for shooting street photography that on a clear sunny day will produce the sharpest images and ensure that i can get the shot/framing correct.
I am struggling to get shots sometimes because i dont want to make people think that i am taking their photo, but i just end up not looking at the lcd/viewfinder and missing the framing entirely or have blurred photos.
Im currently using auto iso - max iso at 3200 and min shutter speed around 1/80.
Any thoughts would be of great help!
Thanks!!
