Evolution of flagella
1

Flagella - plural

Flagellum - singular

I find it interesting that the intelligent designer supporters always refer to THE flagellum, as if there were only one. In fact, there are many flagella that operate by different modes and all share genes with ancestry to other, nonflagellar genes.

So, why would an "intelligent designer" reinvent the wheel so many times?
