How did Fuji get rid of chroma noise, even in RAWs?

I compared the X-T1 in the studio scenes here and there appears to be no chroma noise (and luminance noise is low).  The last time I saw something like this was with the old S5 I had.  I always liked it about that camera.  Does anyone know how it was done?
