Good luck with your new direction.

I have a considerable investment in Oly 43 lenses: 7-14, 14-35, 35-100, 90-250 (all SHG) and the 50-200 and 50 f/2 macro. I have replaced my E-5 with two EM-1 bodies plus two grips (so I don't have to change lenses so frequently). I consider this u43 body to be an upgrade, the new sensor is better, the ergonomics with the grip works great, and focusing is just fine with the 43 lenses. I have nothing to complain about.  Oh sure, I would like a better CAF for BIFs, but the performance isn't that much different than with the E5.

When one wants to go lite, remove the grip and add one of the small prime u43 lenses.

Really, what's not to like?

If I were starting from scratch, perhaps I would chose a different system. Who knows.

But technology changes and I am delighted that my investment in glass is protected.
