EVF and Eye Sensor
Mar 24, 2014

I know that there are 3 modes for the LCD/EVF

1. EVF only

2. LCD only

3. EVF and LCD - LCD will go off when you raise the camera to the eye.

For increasing the battery life, I use the mode 1 above.  But, the EVF remains on all the time, even when my eye is not in the EVF.  Is there a way to set the mode so that, in Mode 1, the EVF will come on only when you raise the camera to your eye?  You don't really need the EVF to be on when you are not using the camera, and this will further save battery power.

Thanks in advance to your answers!
