This is hilarious. We all want the A6000 but we can't have it yet. We're all like dogs with their tongues hanging out, panting away... You throw a sample of it, and us dogs lap it up... (including myself).

Love seeing this. Digital cameras have come a long way, and Sony has done very well making their contribution. Good to know that A6000 is at among the top of.

Personally, I think that the A6000 is a true milestone camera. The A33 was that for me. A step up from the T2i for me. The the A57 made a leap for video for me, and things like *fast* bursting and quite pleasing IQ. The A6000 to me give me that high resolution crispness, yet (obviously) good at low light, and it being an E-mount, a boat load of fun with adapters and lens possibilities.

So, if the A6000 is this good at low light, I'd love to see how it fares against the A7r using a focal reducer, and, say, an A-mount 35/1.8. I have that FR and lens. Surprisingly, given it's not a full frame lens, the vignetting is rather low. Trying this on an A3000, the results are much better than I expected. I totally recommend the Roxsen! It's totally worth it! I got the A-mount to E-mount version of it. It revived some other lenses for me as well. 28-85 macro is doing rather well as well. Once I get the A6000, I'm going to see how it measures up. If the A6000 measures up to the A7r right now, it might outdo it, given that you gain a stop of light using the focal reducer...
