Invisible words on a screen should not upset you.

I had no idea the single blade approach had lasted so long.

No muss, no fuss, no arguing with the  FDA  for which chemicals are acceptable and available. No more cruel or unusual and certainly no "he was alive and twitching in pain and choking for 12 minutes"   ... not after a blade lops off the head.

Each American state should be required by the ACA to purchase a guillotine  to reduce the  financial drain of prisons.  When  the the general public see heads rolling on the first Saturday of every month  crime  levels will fall.

Stainless steel  blade  and  carriage and mahogany  and steel framing would yield a very attractive device. I would imagine the speed with which  the  blade  falls  and the time to decapitate could  now be engineered to be almost instantaneous.
