Samyang after Sigma?

Samyang has come out with a 10mm 2.8 rectilinear lens for Nikon. They say they were aiming for the "highest possible optical parameters". Even with a pinch of salt this sounds pretty good.

I have not handled a Samyang ever, let alone shoot with it. Since I am a wide shooter (the wider the better), I will definitely be looking out for this lens especially as they say it is targeted for landscape shooters.

After Sigmas superb Art series, are we entetring a new era when third party lens manufacturers are more and more making inroads into higher IQ territory that used to belong to Nikon and Canon?
