Sets from the X-T1, the greatest camera ever.

The X-T1 is the realization of a dream. I knew for years before the X-Pro came out that a camera system like this was desperately needed and wanted by the market, and was surprised no one had built it yet. I pre-ordered the X-Pro when it came out, and when I saw the X-T1 rumors, I knew my wallet was about to take another hit.

The camera is a joy to shoot with. I'm not selling my EF mount stuff, but I keep it mostly for serious architecture, night shooting, and fashion work now. I haven't even tried tripod-based night shooting with the T1 yet, so who knows. There's still something to be said for my 5dII, but the X-T1 is in my hands way more often these days. It's actually revived my desire to shoot.
The dynamic range and high iso capabilities this camera offers are ridiculous.  The shot above has way more dynamic range available than my processing of it shows.  There's detail *everywhere* in the shot.

I saw that the watercolor "issue"is still rearing it's ugly head here. Its really too bad that forums continue to perpetuate this nonsense and keep people from buying into an amazing camera system. If you're thinking about buying an X-Mount camera and are concerned about this, immediately stop reading those threads and buy the camera. If you actually shoot it and enjoy it and don't try to create examples to generate traffic for your threads on forums, trust me, it will never be a problem.

There are a few interface issues with the camera, but nothing that really needs to be gone over in detail. None of them stop this from being an amazingly fun to use camera and producing really excellent images.

Anyway, I figured I'd link up the stuff I have online that I've shot with the camera. The full sets of the images in this post are at...
