Hello!

I've just discovered the Pentax DSLRs and I like very much the idea of a proper pentaprism viewfinder and the weather/dust/freeze resistant design.

Can you tell me what is the equivalent lens of the Sony DT 35mm f/1.8 for Pentax? Is there any weather resistant design?

Thank you very much!

Welcome!

Yes, there are equivalent or better lenses for Pentax:

The weather resistant design makes more sense on zoom lenses, because you don't change prime lenses in heavy weather. Nevertheless, there are also some prime lenses (55mm, 100mm macro, 200mm, 300mm) from Pentax which are weather resistant.

Cheers
