Would like to know the general opinion on the likelihood of Fuji producing a full frame model similar to my X100 with fixed lens. Will appreciate your thoughts.

Not very likely.

In a world where the sales of cameras is dwindling, where the potential Customer base is growing smaller, why would Fuji want to follow the herd?

Herd? How many FF fixed lens camera makers are there? How many APS-C camera makers are there? Fujifilm *IS* following the herd.

How many APS-C manufacturers are making f1.2 and f1.4 lenses?

True, but the question is about FF, and in FF format they are equivalent to f/1.8 and f/2.1 lenses, which neither unusual, nor difficult, nor expensive. Additionally, the FF will likely to achieve a lot better resolution both because of better pixels and better equivalent FF lens resolution. It's extremely difficult for the APS-C format to compete with FF, 1.5 crop factor is a huge hit, so as soon as the sensor prices go down, it will be a lot cheaper to achieve quality in FF then the same quality in APS-C.
