X-T1 and X-E1 Image Quality
Mar 17, 2014

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with image quality on both cameras as they seem to have similar specifications around the sensors etc except the X-E1 has slightly larger pixel size than X-T1

Basically if the primary use are for taking photos (not professionally) of houses (interior and exterior, work-related), general portraits and photography of family and landscapes and not worried about auto focus speed (e.g. kids running around) using the same prime lens and exposure settings (e.g. 14mm, 35mm and 56mm), would you notice any difference in out-of-camera JPG image quality? Maximum photo print is 8x10, won't be taking any photos over ISO 6400.

Would the difference in JPG image quality warrant spending more money to upgrade to the X-T1?

If the difference is marginal, I guess the question is why would you upgrade if you don't need fast auto focus or AF tracking speed and wait for the X-T2 instead?
