First sighting - CIPA image stabilization standard cited in camera test
7 months ago

CIPA has recently released a standard specifying how cameras and lenses should be tested for image stabilization.  If I remember correctly, Nikon was one of the camera makers helping develop the new standard.

So for the first time I just noticed a review citing that standard was used.  Review for Olympus OMD-D-EM1.    "The system allows you to hand hold steadily at shutter speeds 4-EV slower than without, per CIPA measurement conditions."  Page 70, Digital Photo Pro magazine  March/April 2014 edition.

Has any one else noticed other reviewers or manufacturers citing or using the new standard?
