I've had an apparently uncommon problem of bad lens contacts. I would often have to wiggle a mounted lens left and right for camera to "see" it.  It was more common with Panasonic lenses, but Zuikos were not immune either.  Cleaning the contacts with alcohol provided only a partial and temporary relief.

Olympus replaced the whole lens mount (I can tell because the new felt tighter at first), and at the same time also fixed the cracked LCD bezel, replaced the rubber elements (eyepiece, thumb rest), and cleaned the sensor.  Overall, I was pretty satisfied with that repair experience, though I did have to pay for it as my camera was out of warranty by then.
