bokeh RX10
Mar 13, 2014

While I really like my RX10 so far, I wish I could get better bokeh images. Sure I've done the zoom, in, wide aperture, etc and have gotten the best milage out of it. But when I zoom as, I get much less background in the shot as I like to (I know, of course, that's what I get when one zooms in.)

So, I'm thinking of the following. I have this older Canon 6.3 MP EOS Rebel SLR lying around with the kit lens. Would it be worthwhile to get a much better lens that can help do that, something like a  50mm f/1.4??  Would the images (in terms of bokeh) be better than what I would expect with my RX10?

btw, I think the size of the sensor for this particular canon is around the APS size..

Sorry if above is an obnoxious question, I really am pretty curious about it and appreciate any info.
