Amazing! Sigma 30mm f2.8 DN 'A' has hidden image stabilisation!
Mar 8, 2014

You get image stabilisation with the Sigma 30mm f2.8 DN 'A' when used on the Panasonic G6 or Olympus E-M5. Don't ask me how, but it works. I took shots at 1/20 sec, HAND HELD and they are consistently sharp. It may actually work with all micro 4/3rds cameras.

Is anyone else aware of this? If so, please share your findings.

These 2 random shots were taken with the Panasonic G6, hand held at 1/20 sec. ISO 1600. They're out of camera JPEGs. The 100% crops show there is no hand shake.

I was amazed to discover this because I have heard nothing about it.

Please see my blog post for more details.

This lens is a real bargain!
