And only if the maker of the EVF makes an useful EVF and doesn't only use an up scaled part of the video stream (like the magnified view in manual focus mode on the Nikon 1 cameras).

The idea is very cool. A FX camera that uses an EVF and has the option to show the whole FX frame with crop lines or a "full screen" mode of the cropped frame.

There are so many possibilities with an EVF. If only the camera makers would start to think about their cameras as computers and not as film cameras with a sensor…
