Needing a very blurred background for a macro shot
5 months ago

I have a Panasonic DMC-ZS25 and i am looking for a setting that will give me a seriously blurred background to a close-up macro shot.  It looks like f3.3 to 86 is possible.   The f3.3 setting is hardly blurred showing objects in the background only slightly blurred but clearly identifiable.  I have read articles about how to do this, but nothing about how to do this on the particular camera i have.  My old Canon PowerShot did a great job of doing this without even changing settings.  Is my camera a dud?  or is it me :-O.  I would appreciate very much if anyone can tell me what settings i need to accomplish this on the DMC-ZS25.  Thank you so much,
