So which focal length are you looking for?

A $100 50mm lens on a full-frame body is suddenly not cheap at all,

A 50mm lens on an APS-C Canon is not even close to a 25mm or 30mm on m4/3rds, so are you seriously looking for a 40mm autofocusing m4/3rds lens?

You're evil Ulfric.

I'm covered well from 12-40 (24-80). What I'm most interested in is the f 1.8 for low light shots or times when I want a very shallow dof for portraits or similar. I thought the 50mm equivalent would be a good all around length...as long as it has 1.8 or better.

Thank you to all for the great info, education, and interaction. I really appreciate you helping me get up to speed on the m43.
