NX-D: Time to give out the codec...
Why won't Nikon just give out the encryption codec for RAW files so that companies like Adobe can make software that will decipher all of the in-camera settings?
Everything useful, like image data or white balance, is already decrypted after it was reverse engineered many years ago. It is in use by dcraw, Adobe DNG converter etc.
Personally, I don't want the converter to use my in-camera setting anyway. Therefore, it already is perfect as it is now.
