Why is the 42.5 F/1.2 $1600 when the Fuji 56mm F/1.2 is only $1000?

Buy the Nikon D800 (36MP, Full Frame) with a 85 F1.8. It will cost $3200 and blow away both of these.

Which part of

"I am a bicycle tourist and mountaineer. I dumped my Nikon gear for M43 because weight is an important consideration"

of the original question you did not get?

Show me your picture, climbing a rock, with a Nikon-beast and an 85/1.8 on your back, smartass!!! Or, even better, your picture, taking a picture with the aforementioned beast, perched on a rock ledge!

Or, alternatively, stop trolling.

1. I'm pretty sure that pictures were taken on the sides of mountains prior to M4/3 cameras. Oh yeah I've done it myself!

2. The difference in weight is minimal at under 400g which is less than some of the cams I carry.

3. I'd love to see someone take a picture of themselves using the camera that's strapped to their back.
