Ow yes, its 2 years old, and now with the D4S, is canon going to release a newer 1D camera soon?

If I would have the dough to spare, I would have bought one myself long time ago... 1Dx is not an overkill....it is a killer... get it!

Just be sure you have another 7K lying around to give it some good glass company: maybe tree primes (sigma 35mm 1.4, Canon L 85mm and Canon L 135mm) plus two zooms: 24-70mm and 70-200mm F2.8 II). if after the purchase, some cash is lying around, get the Tamron 150-600mm for those moments you want to stalk the little birds around.. Try to buy refurbished to stretch out your money.
