A77 Alternative
Mar 2, 2014

Hi all, I need some advice.

Later this year, I'm taking a holiday trip by air with the usual cabin baggage restrictions. My normal kit is A77 + CZ 16-80 + Tamron 55-200 and a 5600 flash. This however takes up quite a bit of space and can get quite heavy. I'm tempted by the RX-10 as an alternative for this trip and for similar jaunts. Does anybody have both and can comment on the idea? How much of a drop in quality is there likely to be in real usage? I presume I can get an adaptor to use the 5600 on it? It's a lot of money to spend, but it could provide a viable alternative to travelling light.

BTW - I posted in this forum rather than the cybershot one, as it's really advice from SLR users I need as to the difference in results.
