Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VRI, or Sigma 70-200 2.8?
So I recently posted whether i should get a 70-200 2.8 or f4, and I chose the F2.8, because I feel that the extra stop is important. Now, I am wondering whether i should get the sigma or the VrI. I have a Dx camera, so vinginetting on the Nikon shouldn't be a huge problem.
The important things to me are
1. Image quality
2. Focus Speed
3. Image Stabilization
I could care less about the weight, size, and vinginetting. I personally like the look of the long lens, so that doesn't bother me at all, but if image quality and focus speed is sacrificed for the looks, I rather take the better image quality and focus speed.
Also, is it worth spending 200 dollars extra on the sigma if you choose the sigma over the Nikon? The sigma retails for about 1300, while I could get a used Nikon 70-200 for 1100.
Lastly, Does the sigma have weatherproofing?
