Strange Bokeh
Feb 28, 2014

["Bokeh" is the odd effect of background out-of-focus shapes. There is generally deemed to be good or bad bokeh!]

Anyway, grabbing some quick shots of one of our squirrels, and shooting through a double glazed kitchen door, when I was processing the images I noticed some very strange repetitive patterns in the background of the shots. The camera was the Canon SX50HS and  as I get strange double images when shooting my 60D/400L though double glazing, I assumed at first that the glass was causing the effect. I came round after a "senior moment" and I  realised exactly what was causing the effect. Any ideas you technical whiz kids??

{please do not crit the image, I know it is not good].
