If you think about it, if the camera is angled down, the light bulb is above the railing by 2-3-4", and you're pretty close, the plane of focus is going to be at the bulb AND several inches in front of the green cord on the railing (not right below the bulb where the green cords are).

Yes, I was just into the focus range.
