Any trick to success with SX50?

I mean other than "practice, practice, practice"?  Check out the Flickr site showing the super SX50 sample images.  They are ALL outstanding.  So what's the trick to coaxing that outstanding quality out of this super-zoom camera?  I'm getting frustrated when I see my results, then view these other great shots.  And the same in this forum.  Many of you folks truly "know" this camera and how to eeke out some very fine photographic results.  I want these results, too.  So where do I start?  Is there a way to get better?

A poorly asked question, but hope you get the idea.
