I completely diagree, and my argument is based entirely on the style of camera. In my experience of mirrorless CD-AF, it won't be single point,

it'll definitely be all-points, where the camera + lens will almost instantly pick something to focus upon, something of high-contrast in the frame.

Single-point specified by the operator will often be aimed at a low-contrast area and focus may be slow.
