Decided to grab lightroom 5

So, I decided that it was time to grab Lightroom 5 before it got sucked into the pay wall mess that is CC. I really love it! Having used Aperture I can really admire how much more robust it's raw support is.

Does anyone have any useful tips or tricks, as I am new to the application and would love to get some good pointers.

Here are some of my first processed shots:

Nice subtle shadow recovery.

Amazing degrain performance.  Seems to replace grain with a pleasing ISO 100 look.

Nice sharp and bright rendition, even in a very low light situation

Very nice shadow recovery.  Her face was very dark in the original RAW

Very impressed with it's auto WB performance.  This was shot UniWB and just set to auto.  Got the nice golden light of the time it was shot spot on.

I think I'm off to a decent start.  Again, any pointers are requested
