Whatever Pentax does, won’t change anything. Because even D600/6D did not change anything.

Oh, but it did for quite a few Pentax users who got either of those two cameras, tired of waiting for Pentax to commit.

Anyway, the statement referred to by the OP means nothing. We've been hearing similar things for years now, so it's pretty hard to give any kind of credence to those messages. Maybe Pentax have got their numbers right and are making the right decision not to go into FF, but I seriously doubt there's anybody left holding their breath.

For how many years? Are you sure you weren't imagining things, because IIRC it started about 1 year and few months ago?

By the way, I see you have gone the other way around, i.e. smaller than APS-C.

Alex

I don't know, maybe I'  getting the time framemixed up, but it certainly feels like we've been speculating and trying to interpret Pentax's statements about a possible FF for ages now.

As for me, I'm a three system guy now. Crazy, I know, but 6D and XE-1 are my main cameras, and I still shoot my K-5 quite often because I have a soft spot for it and the bunch of Limited and manual primes I keep
