Buying a X-E1 today : bargain ?
Feb 24, 2014

Since the new models are available, I see X-E1 for a very fair price (about 700€ with 18-55). Is it a good deal or should I really look at the X-E2 ? I don't own any other Fuji lenses.

Presently, I'm a Samsung NX user but I'm looking for an affordable companion with an EVF. So the X-E1 "kit" looks more than appealing, but maybe it isn't. I've read many comments about it's slowness, bad EVF quality, ... but most of them were coming from people used to use FF DSLR, so it's another world ! Of course, the X-E2 looks improved, but it's more expensive.

My main criterias : a small, reliable, mirrorless camera with EVF (usable with light or darkness, it passes if it's slowed down a bit), capable of producing nice high ISO pictures (indoors, candle light) but with a big DR (landscape pictures) too. If I could be paired with a nice "walkaround", it would be perfect.

Thanks for your answsers.
