If you are using a Nikon body then a Nikkor 50/1.4 is not what you want. Any Nikon lens with a Nikon body gives very very little tilt ability. A Nikon lens on a Canon body is better if you don't mind lowering your standards and using a Canon!

The better option is using medium format camea lense where you are able to hold a lens as muc as a few inches in front with ease.
