A7/NEX-6 Noise Test @ ISO 6400: What do you see?

I decided to do a low-light (ISO 6400) test of the A7 vs. my NEX-6. I used the same lens (Canon FD 28mm f2.8 @ f5.6) on both cameras, both on tripod, just backing up with the NEX-6 to get a very roughly similar field of view, although that's not what I was testing.

I picked ISO 6400 as a place where one would expect to "live" in low light to see advantage of a full frame vs. APS-C.

Here, without comment, are the images:

A7 OOC jpeg, NR=off

A7 OOC jpeg, NR=low

A7 OOC jpeg, NR=normal

A7 raw file after noise-only fixing in LR5

Now, the NEX-6 files:

NEX-6 OOC jpeg, NR=low

NEX-6 OOC jpeg, NR=normal

NEX-6 RAW raw file after noise-only fixing in LR5
