The OVF on the Xpro1 is like that of a range finder. You are not actually seeing though the lens (TTL) when you use it. This introduces some parallax differential. The EVF on the other hand, gives you a TTL perspective.

Mirrorless cameras can give you an OVF. But, they will not give you an OVF with TTL viewing.
